Lisa has over 15 years experience in the area of organisational development and procurement, particularly in the government sector. Fyusion’s focus on People, Systems & Processes embodies Lisa’s distinctive vision and she is passionate about helping her clients succeed.

Her outstanding ability to relate to and understand her clients’ needs, coupled with her strategic vision and practical application of business solutions, has resulted in a remarkable 97% return business rate and ensured Fyusion’s growth and success.

Prior to establishing Fyusion, Lisa ran and managed the consulting practice Business & Procurement Consulting, as part of the NSW Department of Commerce. She has also worked at the Australian Expert Group in Industry Studies, ran the consultancy group of a small management consultancy practice in Melbourne, and lectured and tutored at both Monash and Melbourne Universities in the discipline of Sociology.

Dr Gillian McAllister

Gillian is a specialist in change management and organisational development with a PhD in organisation studies. Her thesis focused on change management in professional services firms and examined the management capabilities required by firms to implement programs of change.

Gillian is a specialist in change management and organisational development with a PhD in organisation studies. Her thesis focused on change management in professional services firms and examined the management capabilities required by firms to implement programs of change.

Over the past 15 years, Gillian has conducted a number of significant specialised projects for clients including The State Library of NSW, AEGIS Research Centre, the Australian Institute for Gambling Research, the Australian Law Reform Commission, the Centre for Legal Process and the Civil Justice Research Centre.

Gillian is a specialist researcher with extensive experience in stakeholder research, including in-depth interviews, focus groups and the facilitation of consultation sessions with stakeholders.

Gillian also actively participates in the research profession and recently presented a paper at the Association of Qualitative Research Conference in August 2011 entitled, ‘Managing a public research library in the age of Google: qualitative research as an enabler of strategic organisational change.’

Earlier in her career, Gillian worked as a lawyer within the NSW public sector and as in-house counsel for a telecommunications organisation.

Julie Kleinman

Julie has recently joined Fyusion in a Principal Consultant role, bringing with her a wealth of public sector experience. Julie’s significant knowledge and capability enables her to help public sector organisations to improve how they operate, particularly large Commonwealth agencies. Julie has developed expertise in human resource consultancy, organisational effectiveness and development, client service, large-scale workplace restructure and change activities, and the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives.

  • Coordination of the International Training Exchange for SGATAR (Study Group on Asian Tax and Research), assisting and encouraging member organisations to share ideas and learning products (virtually), to support the development of tax officers across the region.

Andrew has extensive experience across a range of areas including: business planning and reviews; business process reviews and re-engineering; change and knowledge management; stakeholder consultation including workshops, focus groups and in-depth interviews; research, evaluation and analysis; and procurement advice and strategy.

Dr Rachel Wilson

Rachel is an education academic with a focus on early childhood, higher education and the specialist field of evaluation research.

Rachel is an education academic with a focus on early childhood, higher education and the specialist field of evaluation research.

Rachel began her career as a teacher in the late 1990s in the United Kingdom and since then has established herself as a leading authority in the education sector in NSW.

Since 2003, Rachel has taught both qualitative and quantitative research methods and program evaluation courses in post-graduate degrees at the University of Sydney. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in Research Methods / Assessment & Evaluation at the Faculty of Education & Social Work at this Australian university. During this time, she has also maintained close links with the NSW Department of Education, consulting on research and evaluation projects within the department; providing technical expertise in relation to large data sets and providing research review and reporting services.

Rachel has published books, book chapters and government reviews and reports in the area of education and has refereed many journal articles and conference papers.

She is an effective communicator with considerable experience within the tertiary education, customer service and arts sectors. Karena delivers project support to the Fyusion team across a wide range of projects, including organisational review and design, implementation and change management. Her responsibilities include interview and workshop facilitation, focus group delivery, survey design, and report writing.

Karena’s project experience includes:

• Partnering with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District to develop safety and wellbeing leadership training for Residential Advisors living at University Colleges.

• Key facilitator and coordinator of a tertiary education Leadership Program, specialising in delivering training on Public Speaking, Emotional Intelligence and behaviour assessment tools including DISC.

• Project lead for Orientation Week at a major Australian university; responsible for essential communications and engagement events for over 15,000 newly commencing students annually.

• Has worked collaboratively on International Arts Festivals, with experience in volunteer management, marketing strategy development and targeting sponsorship opportunities at the local level.
